Symbols of Hope for Blount County’s Children

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, and ATFCU has blue pinwheels placed to symbolize hope and commitment to protecting children.
Blue pinwheels are planted in the lawn

Blue pinwheels are displayed across Blount County throughout April to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month, and we’re proud to have them placed at several of our branches. These pinwheels symbolize hope and the commitment our community makes to protecting children.

New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center provides a safe, child‑focused space for children in Blount County who have experienced abuse. Their team brings together all the professionals involved so kids can receive advocacy, interviews, medical care, and therapy in one supportive place—at no cost to families. They’ve served our community for more than 20 years, and we’re honored to show our support for their work.
